The inductive analysis results show that : the formal sector reaction to informal sector depend on economic competition value between them. It also defends on the kind and quality of goods that they sold. On the other hand, street user community reaction to informal sector depends on their purposes of using the street. When choosing the location, street vendor selling clothes has a tendency to aglomerate with the similar vendor and dealer (vendor and dealer who sold the similar kind of pruducts), while street vendor selling foods has a tendency to find the location near important building which has busy activity (such as bank or supermarket). Meanwhile street vendor providing services has a tendency to find the location in front of formal shop which sold the complement of their goods.
The conclusion show that : (1) In spatial interaction, formal sector has no benefit from informal sector existence. (2) Economic interaction value depends on street vendor spatial expansion quantity and also the kind and quality of street vendor goods. (3)
Social interaction value goes in line with economic interaction value. (4) Street vendor
stabilization can be applicated as long as the government can create zone system that
restrict negative interaction between formal and informal sector, and compatible with the street function. |
