| Summary: | This research aims to examine the influence of ceo turnover and corporate
governance to corporate performance. Corporate performance measured by
independent directors, audit committee, managerial ownership, and institutional
ownership. Corporate performance measured by roa (return on assets). Samples used
in this study is banking listed on the indonesia stock exchange (idx) with 2008 up to
2011 as an observation period. Purposive sampling method used in the selection of
the data sample. This research uses a linier regression to examine ceo turnover and
corporate governance to corporate performance. The result of this study indicates
that there is significant influence between ceo turnover to corporate performance.the
results of this study indicates that there is no significant influence between
independent directors, audit committee, and institutional ownership to corporate
performance and there is significant influence between managerial ownership to
corporate performance. |
