| Summary: | Enhancing welfare of society and reducing poverty have been continued to pose serious
challenges to all, especially the government of Indonesia. Some policies that reduce
unemployment, improve health and education have been suggested by the Government in an
effort to reduce poverty as low as possible. Various researches and theories confirm that the
employment, health, and education able in the reduction of poverty in many ways. This
undergraduate theses tries to prove that unemployment, health and education have significant
effect on poverty. Based on the literature review and data analysis using panel data for 33
provinces of the years 2008-2010, found that unemployment, health, and education have positive
effect on poverty reduction in Indonesia.
