Business environment today is increasingly competitive and complex challenges faced by both companies and non-profit oriented. Therefore, performance measurement plays an important role in the company, because not only deals with the determination of success but a measure of whether a strategy used successfully or not. Balanced Scorecard is a performance measurement system that not only measures of financial performance but also non-financial. Santika Premiere Hotel Yogyakarta is one of the companies engaged in the hospitality industry and has been applying the Balanced Scorecard as a performance measurement system. In the application of Balanced Scorecard not all are successful examples. Some companies do not apply Balanced Scorecard correctly. Thus it is necessary to evaluate the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard. In this study researcher used Strategy-Focused Organization (SFO) theory, which is a theory of the Balanced Scorecard creator, Kaplan and Norton (1996). Santika�s Balanced Scorecard assessed with the five elements of SFO. The results of this study indicate that the Santika�s Balanced Scorecard has met the requirements of the SFO. However, a clear compensation system is required so that the application of the Balanced Scorecard can be done optimally.
