This paper uses annual unemployment rate and entrepreneurship rate data from 1998 to 2009 in Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia to reconcile that relationship. EViews 7 is used to estimate the panel data with Vector-Auto-Regressive (VAR) model. It is found that refugee effect exist in ASEAN developing countries, but Schumpeter effect does not exist. |
