| Summary: | The study objective was to determine the magnitude of the farmers response toward the
agricultural innovation news in the television in Kalasan Suburb Sleman Regency and the factors
that influence.
Sub samples were taken overall, the Village Tamanmartani, Selomartani, Tirtomartani
and Purwomartani, because all of the village residents have an average modern communication
tools already. Of each of all the villages in Kalasan Suburb was taken 60 samples of farmers that
was taken by simple random sampling.
Data were analyzed with multiple linear regression model with backward method. The
results showed that the attitude of farmers towards agricultural innovation news on the television
is height and a behavioral response to the news of agricultural innovation in the television media
is still rare.
Factors affecting farmers' response to the news of agricultural innovation is the land
area, the position in the group and education level of farmers. |
