| Summary: | Utilization of synthetic adhesives on particleboard manufacture become
one of health and the environment problems. Therefore, it is necessary to develop
particleboard without adhesive (binderless) or utilize of natural adhesives on
particleboard manufactured. This study aimed to investigate the characteristics of
oil palm frond and its binderless particleboard. The effect of addition citric acid
on properties of particleboard was also discussed.
The particleboard was made from oil palm fronds with target density of
