study is a secondary data, that is data growth (GDP per capita), the Gini index,
and the level of poverty. Analysis tools used in this study are panel data
regression.
The analysis shows that economic growth has no significant effect on
income inequality. There is a significant effect of the variable negartif and
economic growth on poverty (when income inequality is considered constant).
Variable income inequality has no significant effect on the level of poverty. Net
elasticity of poverty to economic growth is more effective in reducing poverty in
the province of Jambi compared with the value of the gross elasticity of poverty to
economic growth. |
