This study is aimed to investigate whether patients with high myopia had different PCT than those with emetropia.
This was a descriptive analytic study recruiting all patients who visited refractive clinics at Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta and who were confirmed as high myopia or emetropia. Assessment of PCT was performed manually using slit lamp and stopwatch by a single observer, and expressed as milliseconds (ms).
There were 60 patients included in this study (30 emetropia and 30 high myopia). The mean PCT in patients with high myopia was significantly longer than those with emetropia (1214.8 ± 252.023 ms vs. 971.37 ± 111.73 ms |
