One of the development of renewable energy sources such as hydro energy potential
through micro hydro power plant (MHP). In the development of MHP are many
factors that must be taken to ensure that the development can be optimally used and
not wasted. The factor is based on the results of a survey of potential MHP, the study
of natural resources. One of the small industries that exist in the industry Purworejo
stone breaker who currently use electricity from a diesel engine-driven generator.
Calculation terbangkit power plant efficiency is calculated by the value of the damage
caused to the penstock and generator losses on the network. Based on the data
obtained, the power generated is equal to 42.4kW
Electrical design includes the determination of the main suit and safety system design
on the starting motor is used to move the stone crusher. While the mechanical design
includes determining the type of belts, pulleys, chains and sprockets on a stone
