| Summary: | The purpose of this research is to analyze the relation between rural PNPM
with the poverty reduction in West Kalimantan. The data used are secondary data
consist of the percentage of poor population (P0), the poverty gap index (P1), the
poverty severity index (P2) and BLM Rural PNPM in 8 (eight) districts/ cities in
West Kalimantan in 2007-2010. The method used is quantitative analysis of
simple regression with random effects models.
The results indicate that the PNPM has a negative and significant
relationship to poverty in West Kalimantan. It is seen from the decrease in the
percentage of poor people, while the poverty gap index and poverty severity index
has a negative and insignificant relationship. |
