description Improving the quality of daylighting will reduce lighting energy but potentially increase energy of air condition because the heat gain in the building is also increases. The problem of research is to know the optimal compromise of daylighting in the integration of lighting systems to achieve energy efficiency by looking at the effect of the building envelope. The simulations objects are hypothetical conditioned multi storey building serves as an office, typical floor area 1600 m² with size 40m x 40m. WWR variables defined in range of 10% - 70% , VT variables from 0,1 to 0,9 and a building orientation in the direction of 0º. Softwares simulations use energyplus v7.0, plugins openstudio v7.0, LBNL Window 6.3 and Dialux 10.0. The research results show the integration of daylighting can reduce energy consumption of lighting up 66%, ventilation up 6% and total energy up to 20%. The combination of WWR and VT mutual influence in energy reduction. Small WWR need glass with low VT, medium WWR need glass with intermediate VT and large WWR need glass with high VT. The best energy perform obtained by medium WWR with medium VT in configuration of WWR 50% with VT 0,5. East and west side of the highest levels of daylight illumination but the heat gain is also high, North and south sides of effective daylighting when using large WWR. The ratio of 3:1 is the best lighting energy performance but ratio 1:2 is the best for total energy performance in equivalent comparison of configurations. Shading component increase energy efficiency up to 2% for lightshelf type and 4% for overhang type. Level of energy efficiency also determined by the mechanical systems were selected for the type of lighting control, lighting types and types of air conditioners.
