| Summary: | This research aims to analyze the Indonesian military strength in Southeast Asia. The focus of the discussion in this research is to analyze the strength of Indonesian military forces in Southeast Asian region and how the development of the domestic defense industry. Analysis was done through literature study of various journals, books, research reports and other sources. Based on the data processing, the authors then mapped the Indonesian military strength and do a comparison with the military strength of ASEAN countries. Based on military technology, Indonesia left behind neighboring countries Malaysia and Singapore, but it does not mean that the Indonesian military strength under the two countries. After the end of the cold war and the end of the military embargo by the United States of America, exactly the Indonesian military strength rise again, according to GFP (Global Fire Power) and other military institutions, Indonesian military is the strongest in Southeast Asia. To increase military strength, Indonesia vigorously develops and expands the capabilities of domestic defense industries, and do a lot of defense cooperation with developed countries in the world. The military theme is very interesting to discuss, because the military strength of a nation will reflect the strength of the country itself.
