Management Unit (FMU). The purpose of this study is the cause and impact of
overlapping area management and to recommend settlement measures.
qualitative-
This research was conducted at the National Park Alas Purwo with descriptive approach in accordance with the purpose of research. The data collected consisted of aspects of forests area, forest resources and management policies. Data analysis in this study is based on data obtained in accordance with the research objectives, and then examine the qualitativedescriptive, spatial and overlapping jurisdiction in the settlement area management of Alas Purwo National Park. South Banyuwangi Wildlife Sanctuary The results of this study indicate that the overlapping area management of
Alas Purwo National Park was caused by an overlap the decision of the Minister
of Forestry about change of function of area as Alas Purwo National Park with the establishment of forested area in East Java Province. The impact of these is wildlife home range disturbance considering that this area serves as wildlife movement corridor, especially for bulls (Bos javanicus), forest disturbances such as illegal logging, wildlife poaching, fuel woods collecting, bamboo logging, land grabbing and forest fires. Completion overlapping area management of Alas Purwo National Park resolved by a mechanism outside the court. Step solution is to accelerate the area mapping process of Alas Purwo National Park |
