| description | This study aims to determine the characteristics of regional development, particularly in the District Military Command 1504 / Ambon Island defense against potential development in the region and to determine the extent of the role of regional governments, the development potential of the defense in the District Military Command 1504 / Ambon Island, as well as to find the right method in order to develop the potential of the defense in the District Military Command 1504 / Ambon Island. Surveys by taking information / resource persons from District Military Command 1504 personnel / Ambon Island and the people who live in the area District Military Command 1504 / Ambon Island as respondents, the determination of the informant or respondent intentionally, but it also collected secondary data relevant and descriptive data analysis conducted qualitative.
The results showed: 1) the potential of Defense Regional District Military Command 1504 / Ambon Island has not been nurtured well, including the role of government is not optimal. 2) Constraints faced are the lack of coordinated data collection system resulting in the potential defense of the defense potential of the data is inaccurate. Besides government and the District Military Command 1504 / Ambon Island has not been fully empower indigenous cultures that exist in the area of government land and cultural empowerment Pela Gandong very obeyed and upheld by society as a means of unifying and strong brotherhood between two regions of different religions and customs and customary governance very obeyed by the people. 3) The exact method as a solution to solving the data collection system improvements and potential defenses with increased integration and cooperation between the government and the District Military Command 1504 / Ambon Island in the system and data collection covering Potential Development Geography, Demography and Social Potential, District Military Command 1504 / Ambon Island execute territorial development in coaching defense by the entire apparatus in which the Village Trustees NCO (non-commissioned officer) as the spearhead of territorial development with Regional Resilience coaching method, development Bhakti (serves) TNI and Social Communication coaching with Pela Gandong to use local wisdom and the Government which is highly valued by the people of Ambon Island and surrounding areas. |
