resources of the company. This study aimed to identify the dominant leadership style is applied to increase the productivity of employees in the Production Department of Solid PT. Nufarindo. In addition, the study aims to identify the relationship of leadership style on the productivity of employees in the Department of Solid Production PT. Nufarindo mediated by motivation.
The study used a research method associative with the type of survey
research that will reveal the relationship of three variables, namely leadership
style as independent variables, employee motivation as intermediate variables,
and the performance or productivity of Solid Production Department PT.
Nufarindo as the dependent variable. Data collected included primary and
secondary data. Primary data from the questionnaires were distributed to
employees of the Department of Solid Production PT. Nufarindo, and discussion with the employee section. The discussions and observations used to support ongoing research. Secondary data derived from productivity data as seen from Section Solid appraisal 6 months back, ie from January to June 2011.
Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed using correlation and linear
regression methods.
From this research result that the value of r for variable Leadership Style Production Supervisor and Coordinator of the Work Productivity Operator Solid
Production Department is 0.027 and the t value is 0.179. R value for the variable leadership style Production Supervisor and Coordinator for Motivation Operator Solid Production Department is 0.393 and the t value is 2.869. R value for the variable Motivation Operator Solid Production Department of the Ministry of Solid Production Operator Productivity is 0.443 and the t value is 3.315. It is said that the Leadership Style Production Supervisor and Coordinator of Solid Production Department does not directly influence Operator Productivity Solid, but must be mediated by the motivation to work. In addition, the dominant leadership style is applied in Section Solid Production Department are consultative and participative leadership style. |
