| Summary: | Borobudur Masterpiece Ballet is an art form of dance colossal in Central Java who raised the concept of the story of the construction of the largest Buddhist temple in Java. Implementation of this performance is being pursued by PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko become a tourist attraction in the area of Borobudur Temple supporters can often be enjoyed. Existence of performance art is still new so not too likely well known. Purpose for existence among others: conveying meaning deep philosophical and historical buildings of the existence of Borobudur temple area liven up at night, can increase the number of tourist visits and to further support the tourism activities in the area of Magelang, Central Java.
The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a thorough and comprehensive approach or data collection method to the study of literature using the desired data based on written evidence, direct field observations and interviews with sources associated with ballet.
