Summary:Toxocariasis is a disease caused by a Toxocara vitulorum. Toxocara vitulorum is a class of nematode worms with ascaris or Toxocara genus. Toxocara vitulorum multiplies in the digestive tract and cause further damage to the tissue and can cause interference of the process digestion. The purpose of the study was to determine the prevalence and risk factors of infection Toxocara vitulorum in Wonogiri. A total of 290 head of beef cattle calves of 221 smallholder farmers in Wonogiri was used as a sample. Qualitatively examined stool was examinated in the laboratory of Parasitology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University Gadjah Mada. The method used in this study was to survey the location of the farm. The survey was conducted by sampling and questionnaires to farmers and field veterinarians as well as direct observation of pans conditions and animals. Data were analyzed by chi-square (�2 ) test and Odds Ratio (OR). Results of the research showed that the prevalence of Toxocara vitulorum in Wonogiri was 62.41%. Significant factors that influence the prevalence of Toxocara vitulorum were the type of feed (P = 0,001
