| Crynodeb: | Strongyle nematodes are among the most characteristic parasites of the gastrointestinal system of ruminants throughout the world. Gastrointestinal parasites infections are a major problem in livestock management. The economic impact of gastrointestinal parasites result in mortality losses and reduction in growth and production and also condemnation of carcasses. The aim of this research were to measure the prevalence of strongyles investation and factors influence in Wonogiri district.
Two hundred and fiveth nine of calves feces samples were collected from 221 farmers in Wonogiri district. Risk factor were observed by quisioner which gived to farmers. Strongyles investation was measured based on apung method (flotation method) and McMaster method. Factors assosiation was measured by Chi Square (�2) and Ood Ratio (OR).
Research showed that strongyle investation was 12,74% (33/259). Factors that influence strongyle investation were type of feed and sun�s rays quality. |
