Center for Veterinary Wates is one of the technical unit which is under and responsible to the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health in charge of carrying out the investigation, veterinary testing, engineering development, and testing of veterinary investigation methods. Job training was held on 15-19 April 2013 at the Laboratory of Epidemiology and Parasitology Laboratory, with the aim of knowing the situation of the incidence of diseases caused by protozoa in 2012. Activities undertaken is to know the incidence of coccidiosis, the number of shipments that enter the sample, number of samples positive for oocyst koksidia and determine which test is used. Incidence of coccidiosis monitoring data situation in 2012 at the Center for Veterinary Wates, a total sample of 6,187 submissions from service areas such as Special Region of Yogyakarta, Central Java and East Java as well as other areas such as West Java and North Sumatra, including 2,036 of the samples tested positive for oocyst koksidia with a percentage of 32.91% incidence of cases, there is in dogs, rabbits, sheep / goat, cattle / buffalo and cats caused by the genus Eimeria spp. Test is performed to determine the parasite is floating test method with the principle Whitlock find and calculate the egg / oocyst protozoa.
