Summary:Topic: The Mandapa Plaosan is one of the building in Plaosan Temple Complex which it located in Plaosan Village, Bugisan District, Prambanan, Klaten, Central Java. There are 21 statues in Mandapa Plaosan Temple. This research is try to discover figure identity of that statues based from Iconographic and religion background. The religion background became a basic rule of statue�s constellation. Problem and Purpose: The problem in this research are: 1. How is visualization of Plaosan�s statues? 2. What is religion concept that used in to set the constellation of statues in Plaosan Tempel. 3. Is the constellation of statues in Mandapa Plaosan Temple, that outcome from nowadays restoration, fit with the iconography and religion concept? Aim of this research are: (1) Know the figure identity of statues, (2) Religion concept that used for set the statue�s constellation is Buddhist Mandala, (3) Fit constellation with religion background. Method: The research uses a descriptive-analytic and inductive reasoning. The statues are assessed using iconographic approach. Whereas, the pattern of constellation is assessed using contextual analysis based from religion manuscripts and comparison toward others temple�s statues. Conclusion: This is research is discover figure identity of 17 statues in Mandapa Plaosan Temple. The last 4 statues is unidentified. Figure of statues are Buddhist pantheon figures, Dhyani Buddha and Bodhisattwa. That two figures could be a sign of constellation based from Ratnatraya concept and represent Garbhadhatu-mandala. This is based from concept in Sang Hyang Kamahayanikan Manuscript. The constellation from nowadays-restoration didn�t fit with religion concept. So, it needs to reconstruct to set the right constellation in Mandapa Plaosan Temple.
