| Summary: | This paper explain about mind pattern marriage postponement of Japanese
women. From statistics data, the age of first marriage in Japan increase for women
from 23th in 1940 and 30th in 2010. This phenomenon make writer interest to research
about single Japanese women who postpone the marriage.
The data of this paper use literature study. For data processing, using
description method for explaining the fact which relate with mind pattern marriage
postponement of Japanese women. This research uses evolution theory.
From the research that has been done, it is known that the factors marriage
postponement of Japanese women are four. First, parasite single who still living with
parents and all their needs has filled make them not interest to marriage. Second, the
chance of education make Japanese women continuing their study to the higher
education and consider it as most important then marriage. Third, the opinion that
marriage as the barrier to reach their success make Japanese women choose carrier
than marriage. And fourth, the attitude of Japanese society tolerant to single and
accept them in society make Japanese women feel better to be single.
