Summary: | Background: Pencak Silat is an Indonesian culture, but the combative sport of
Pencak Silat left behind from Vietnam at SEA Games 2007. One reason is
performance less than the maximum. Thus supporting performance factors such as
nutrition, nutritional status, somatotype, and fitness must be considered.
Objective: Purpose of this study is to identify and define the relation between the
dietary fat intake, percentage body fat, somatotype, and agility of Pencak Silat
combative PELATDA Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
Methods: This study is a cross-sectional analytic study with observational design.
The subjects are all pencak silat athletes� PELATDA DIY (n=15). The variables
studied were fat intake, percentage body fat, somatotype, and agility.
Result: Fulfillment dietary fat intake of the population is 13% \"more\", 33% \"good\"
and 54% \"less\". Percentage of body fat men 75% \"very well\"
