Roller Feeder 362-WQ1 is one of machine support of the existing machines on Raw Mill area. In the Roller Feeder 362-WQ1 is common problem in bearing, that problem is the dust and the material causing the release of bearings cover. This problem make breakdown the bearing. To solve these problems required additional protective, that is Housing with Oil Seal.
Oil Seal is a component in machine that have function to lubricant and to prevent dust or dirt and other material enter to bearing.Oil Seals that used is T type with 2 lips, which is the main seal lip and dust lip. Oil Seal are placed on the Housing then placed on the body mounted on Roller Feeder 362-WQ1. Main seal lip are exposed to bearings, and the dust lip exposed on the outer surface. So dust lip protect dirt and others material income.
After the addition of housing with oil seal along the Roller Feeder 362-WQ1 body, writer get the data in April until June 2013 there has been no damage to the bearing and bearing temperature is normal. So technician don't need repair process and make downtime is 0 minute for 3 month. |
