| Summary: | Potential and attractions is something that can be developed into a tourism
attraction. This study discusses the potential and attractiveness in the development
Vredeburg. Vredeburg is a building with a quaint European-style colonial
architecture, which now has the task of carrying out the collection, maintenance,
preservation, research, presentation, publication of research results and provide
guidance regarding the objects of cultural and educational history of the struggle of
Indonesia in Yogyakarta. The analysis technique used is the SWOT analysis
technique. The results of this research is the development of appropriate strategies to
