description One phenomenon which is becoming more trending nowadays in the international trade is the increasing export and import from one country to another. This phenomenon has been quite frequent, especially in the food sector, including fruit trade. In this fruit trade case, the demand for the imported fruits has been increasing, exceeding the demand for the local fruits. To handle this issue, the indonesian government has announced a number of regulations as their domestic policy on fruit imports, to protect the local farmers. In this entire policy framework, a number of actors with their own interests are involved: Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Industry, local farmers, importers, and other related business owners.
