| Summary: | This study reports the process of Field Work Practice (PKL) in the Library,
Archive, and Documentation of Pasuruan Region. The first step starts from survey
of inactive records, filling system, records volume, to format of records media
kept in record center. The second step I observe the record center in Kantor
Perpustakaan, Arsip, dan Dokumentasi Kota Pasuruan from their layouts,
facilities, infrastructures, access, to human resources. Moreover, this study
examines record center in Kantor Perpustakaan, Arsip, dan Dokumentasi Kota
Pasuruan.
This study uses three methods in collecting data. First, I use interview to gather
the data from the parties that responsible for the management of archive in archive
unit. Second, I observe to understand the activities of management in record
center and to gather more accurate data in this study. Third, I do literature study to
gather the data from other references, literatures, and books related to the record
center management.
I concluded that Kantor Perpustakaan, Arsip, dan Dokumentasi Kota Pasuruan
use the problem system in recording its inactive records. Moreover, I found that
there is lacking system and facility of air humidity and ventilating. Also, I found
that there is lacking space in Kantor Perpustakaan, Arsip, dan Dokumentasi Kota
Pasuruan. compared to its records volume.
