Summary:The furnace with kerosene fuel have many heat energy lost in melt aluminium process, low efficient of melting material. This is not safety which price of kerosene is expensive and difficult to find it. Furnace tube was made by cutting plat process, rolling, maked a hole and welding the metal sheet. Furnace wall was made by mix the refractories castable cement and water, put the knot on banana tree. The kowi was make by cutting pipe process, cutting the sheet metal cover, handle and welding this all. Cover of furnace was made by desaign the pattern on the sheet metal and cutting it. The results of analisis, induction furnace are needed 1,78 kWh for melting 1 kg aluminium and the cost is Rp 1589,54 for 2200 VA house capacity. The volume of gas LPG 0,81 kg are needed to melt 1 kg aluminium takes 29 minutes and the cost is Rp 4050. The volume of gas LPG 1,175 kg are needed to melt 2 kg aluminium takes 38 minutes and the cost as many as Rp 5875.
