| Summary: | Process of moving material in assembly area at PT. Sanggar Sarana Baja,
needed of lifting or mover equipment material in the distribution process, because
large load capacity, may not be moved by human power. At the assembly area,
load capacity and type of plane lifting need to be considered.
Based on several factors such as the condition of the area, the
displacement distance, type and maximum load is lifted. Then planning lifting
equipment of material that will be used is a type of semi gantry crane.
On planning lifting this type of semi gantry crane, lifting capacity is 60
Ton, lifting height is 15 m and the width of span is 24 m. Components are taken
into account in planning, among others such as steel wire rope, drum, hook,
brake, pulley, coupling and motor
