Soeparwi Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Gajah Mada, in order to add
insight and knowledge about the management of patient hospitalization dogs. The final
goal is to determine the management of patient care in the inpatient dogs Animal Hospital
Prof. Soeparwi Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Gajah Mada.
The material used for the preparation of this final is matter of patient care in the
hospitalization dogs Animal Hospital Prof. Soeparwi Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
University of Gajah Mada that the data obtained during the course of the Work Practice
Beloved Pet on January 1 to 6 April 2013. Methods used in data collection are
observation, interviews and direct practice.
Outcomes of patients hospitalized dogs in Animal Hospital Prof. Soeparwi
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Gajah Mada, the patients were diagnosed
with Distemper, Nerve Disorder, Dermatitis (Demodekosis), and parvovirus. Patient care
management dog inpatient hospitalization after cleaning the cage once a day, twice daily
feeding, medications as directed the doctor. For unused storage enclosure still placed in
inpatient healthy. Hospitalization cage dogs and cats are still placed in one room.
Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the management of
patient care in hospitalization dogs Animal Hospital Prof. Soeparwi Faculty of Veterinary
Medicine University of Gajah Mada was quite good, but the sanitary cage done once a
day and inpatient dogs and cats are still contained in one room. Cage sanitation should be
done twice a day in morning and afternoon and inpatient dogs and cats should be
separated. |
