Summary:Background: There were problem solver that did not implement PSBH to resolved problems in their workplace. In the performance�s theory, work motivation has important role. People with high self efficacy strive harder to face a difficulty in their work. Objective: The study aimed to know the relationship between self efficacy and work motivation of Dr. Sardjito hospital�s problem solver in the implementation of quality improvement activity with PSBH. Method: This study was a quantitative research with cross sectional design. The sample were 47 problem solver of Dr. Sardjito Hospital which consist of doctor, nursing, the other health worker, and non medical worker. Self efficacy measured with General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) and work motivation measured with Work Preference Inventory (WPI) Working Adult Version. Result: The study�s result showed that there were positive and significant relationship between self efficacy and work motivation of problem solver, the value of p=0,023. Spearman correlation was weak (r=0,332). There was differences of problem solver�s work motivation based on job types and the number of the implementation of PSBH. Conclusion: There were positive and significant relationship between self efficacy and work motivation of Dr. Sardjito Hospital�s problem solver in the implementation of quality improvement activity with PSBH.
