Indonesia. Low soil fertility in Ultisol, is one of inhibiting factor for sugarcane growth. The
objective of this research was to study the influence of KCl and stillage aplication dose in
sugarcane, to obtaining fertilization concentration with optimum result of K uptake
sugarcane in Ultisol Lampung and to study interaction between fertilization dose and soil K
availability against absorbed K and sugarcane growth in Ultisol Lampung. This research was
carried out in Kuningan greenhouse, Soil Department, Agriculture of Faculty, Gadjah Mada
University, Yogyakarta. The experiment design used was Completely Randomized Design
(CRD) consisted of two treatment factor with 3 replication. The first factor is
recommendation K dose 50 %, 100 % and recommendation stillage 50 %, 100 %. Second
faktor is soil K availability consists of availability of low soil K (0,1-0,2 me/100g) and
availability of very low soil K (< 0,1 me/100g). The result showed that type and
concentration of K fertilization have a significant interaction against K plant tissue of
sugarcane. No interaction in K uptake with optimal value in application of stillage at 100 %
recommended in the amount of 3444,9 mg/plant. |
