| Summary: | CSR is a balanced approach for organizations to understand the issues of
economic, social, and environmental aims to bring benefits to individuals, groups
and communities. As one of the state-owned enterprises in Bontang, PT Pupuk
Kaltim also participate implement CSR programs to the city. One of the many
CSR undertaken by PT Pupuk Kaltim, there is a project called Pujasera (Pusat
Jajanan Serba Ada). The Pujasera is a bunch of merchants that get built from the
partnership of PT Pupuk Kaltim and spread at the Pujaseras in PT Pupuk Kaltim�s
housing.
The method used in this study is a qualitative exploratory case study, to
describe the situation in detail to a specific phenomenon and explain what and
how this phenomenon occurs. According to the research, Pujasera PT Pupuk
Kaltim considered have been able to present two CSR programs, the Partnership
Community Program and Environmental Development. Pujasera PT Pupuk
Kaltim is also in the category of CSR shape called Corporate Philanthropy
because PT Pupuk Kaltim provide direct in the form of funds and equipment to
the surrogate partners. However, the implementation of CSR activities Pujasera
not fully meet the 5 pillars that must be met for an activity referred to as a CSR,
CSR program.
As a form of response from this study, it can be recommended several that
are expected to make this Pujasera CSR activities better. There are an action
against the parties that are considered disturbing comfort and give a bad image to
a Pujasera, conduct regular monitoring to a Pujasera which considered have a bad
image by a society, increasing attention to the public facility in the Pujasera, and
realign the functions of shanties that have been double as residential.
