| Summary: | This research had a purpose to know how the construction of the reporting of the Mesuji and South Lampung conflict that was broadcasted by TV One since 2011 until 2012. The news that was used in this research was 33 News. The 18 news discussed about the Mesuji conflict and The 15 news discussed about the South Lampung conflict. This research used The Dahinden and The Robert Etnam framing method.
The framing method that was applied by Dahinden was the basic frame to see the position and the special view towards the media and the text of the news. Afterwards Entman framing explained that in making the framework framing by means of selected and gave treated certain towards the aspect from an incident that will be researched in the text of the news. It was further that Entman explained that framing was the activity, the explanation, the evaluation, and the recommendation of the definition giver towards the incident that discoursed. Conception concerning framing from this Entman depicted widely how the incident interpreted and it was indicated by the reporter.
From the explanation above the researcher was gotten frame-frame that formed the pattern in the Mesuji and South Lampung conflict. This Frame was the motive of the conflict, the dynamics of the conflict, and the conflict resolution.
Results of the conflict of Mesuji research at TV One more focused attention to brutality and not anarchy that was carried out the Mesuji society. Whereas in South Lampung conflict, TV One was more focused attention to the Lampung community that easier to be provoked and more emotional. In frame the dynamics of the difference conflict began to be seen in the Mesuji conflict frame more was centered on the critical of the achievement of the government, whereas in the frame of South Lampung conflict more lifted suffered the Balinese ethnic community in the evacuation place. In frame of the conflict resolution of the both of them had the similarity that the conflict could be only completed by the government.
The findings research shows that the reporter was not critical for seeing the phenomenon that happened in Mesuji and South Lampung. So, they create the quality of the low news. The quality of the low news that was absorbed audiences and also make the perception of them will be shift about the two conflicts in the end.
