| Summary: | PT PLN (Area) Surakarta, Central Java, is one of the provider of
electricity in Indonesia. In a distribution system, energy which is transfered from
the plant will not be 100% delivered in to the customer. One measure of the
reliability of the network is the number Saidi and Saifi. The higher the value saidi
and saifi within a certain time, it can be stated that the more and tissue disruption
can be said in less good condition (not optimal) and vice versa.
Maintenance of the distribution network views of the nature and type of
maintenance distinguished between preventive maintenance, corrective
maintenance, and emergency maintenance.
To minimize the number saidi and saifi, PLN performs inspections to the
possibility of interference. Another thing that can be done is revamping the
distribution equipment.
