Description
Summary:Indonesia Energy Planning Research set up for the Government of Indonesia for exploring the different method to prepare an Integrated Energy Plan which would provide a short, medium and long term strategy. This executive summary is an overview of comparing of methods of ENPEP, LEAP, and MARKAL with deep analysis, interviews, research and studies including analysis of plans from different methods undertaken by the primary resources, energy demand, generating plant scenario, and renewable energy initiative of this energy planning research. Subsequently a research was set up in order to undertake the operation research as mathematical modeling and forecasting using regresive exponential smoothing in calculate of collating, digesting, integrating and articulating the work of the various sectoral energy groups which included. This research to provide new ways for Indonesia to achieve greater energy self-sufficiency by pursuing policies that are sustainable, provide for energy security and conservation and are environmentally friendly. Decision making decisions are required today for the medium and long term energy securities. Currently, there appears to be confusion about the proper decision making authorities in terms of additional generation capacity. The research recommendation of a National Energy Council with proper decision making authority is a strong move to address this issue. The result of research, While the deregulation of the energy sector and policy must be variable significant for modeling of energy planning. It is necessary that regulating should enjoy complete independence under research framework. Creation of model using closed loop method will be increasing a detailed plan. LEAP, ENPEP, MARKAL just calculate as straight forward, no feedback intervention. To comprehensive planning, using complex relation using many ways of feedback technique especially in breaking down variable policy intervention as a recommendation.
