obtaining accurate and complete information from the alleged child as the suspect of
Child Sexual Abuse (CSA). The humanist investigative interviewing model is summarized
in The Humanist Investigative Interviewing Training (Pelatihan Wawancara Investigatif
Humanis/ PWIH). This research was aimed to know whether the PWIH could increase the
investigative interviewing skills� quality of investigator. The design of this research was a
case study. The check list observation guide of investigative interviewing skills� quality
was used as the instrument to measure the investigative interviewing skills� quality of the
investigator at pretest and posttest. The content validity of the module was conducted by
researcher and was confirmed by professional judgment. Subject of this study was one
police investigator who conducted an investigative interviewing toward the alleged child
as the suspect of Child Sexual Abuse. The research question was whether the PWIH
could increase the investigative interviewing skills� quality of investigator. The research
question were answered using the qualitative and quantitative analysis. The quantitative
analysis by computing the mean of score from investigative interviewing skills based on
the check list observation guide and the qualitative analysis was based on document
collected during the training process, that was the interview verbatim and observation
notes. The results study showed an increase the investigative interviewing skills� quality of
the research subject and participants in this study after training. |
