| Summary: | Internal auditors are the main controller in a particular department in government
hospitals, because it can do early prevention of symptoms or problems that arise is going to then be given recommendations for improvement, which the recommendations to improve the effectiveness of hospital performance to create the service better serve the community. Many of the problems that arise in government hospitals, the one mentioned by ICW on performance issues. Hence the importance of the role of internal auditors in addressing the performance issues. The scope of work of internal auditors is not only the financial, but also includes all the scope that existed at the hospital itself. This research is a case study, which researchers are required to know the problems that occurred prior to the research object, and then the researchers found BPK findings representatives Jogjakarta 2011 Number 23/LHP/XVIII.YOG/10/2011 of RSUD Wates performance which detects the findings regarding the performance of pharmacy. The purpose of this study was to determine auditee�s perception of the internal auditor function in hospitals which is improving the effectiveness of RSUD Wates. This study analyzes using the original questionnaire was adopted directly from the IIA (Institute of Internal Audit) then
analyzed by the internal auditor of the IIA guidelines and then compared with the results on observation form of questionnaires submitted to the auditee. The conclusion of this study outlines that, the internal auditor function in RSUD Wates has well done and with the internal auditors could improve the effectiveness of the performance RSUD Wates.
