Sample farmers selected using random sampling as many as 100 farmers
drawn from two villages namely Baroko Village and Benteng Alla Village.
Efficiency analysis using stochastic frontier analysis with the MLE method, using
risk analysis methods of Just and Pope (1979), and behavior analysis farmers
against the risk of using Moscardi and de Janvry methods �1977).
Based on the results of stochastic frontier production function analysis
arabica coffee farm has efficient. Variables are increasing on the production of
arabica coffee is Urea, ZA, SP36, herbicides, and labor. Variables that reducing on
technical inefficiency is the Arabica coffee farming formal education, being a
increasing is the number of family members. Variables are positive impact on the
stochastic frontier cost function is the price of urea, SP36, and manure, are
variables that are negative price KCl.
Risk analysis results indicate that the variable production of urea and SP36
are risk increasing of production and variable KCl fertilizer and manure production
is risk reducing, while the risk analysis results indicate that the income variable
price of urea fertilizer and pesticide prices are increasing the risk of revenue.
Average arabica coffee farmers in Enrekang be risk aversion. The results showed
that the assessment of the sustainability of farming farmers arabica coffee in
Enrekang based on biophysical aspects, social and economic sustainability in
enough categories.
