Summary: | Kalisuci is a tourist destination that has a natural attraction as a beautiful
ornament caves, karst landscapes are still awake, and a cool environment and rich
ecosystem in the cave. Package tours are developed in this region is cave tubing and
trekking. Planning to develop the area must be in accordance with the vision and
mission to be achieved, making SWOT analysis, and noticed some sectoral policies
that support tourism activities in the region. Strategy developed should have the goal
to preserve nature, increase the welfare of society, and provide long-term positive
impact.
This study discusses the attraction of nature and culture in Kalisuci, tour
packages have been provided, and recommendation development using the principles
of ecotourism. Kalisuci tourism development should pay attention to the aspect of
conservation by creating a zoning system, pay attention to the carrying capacity of the
environment, providing bins, and waste management. The educational develop aspect
is an important step that can be done to make one day karstology tour packages, tour
guide training cave, English language training, and establish a library. Participation of
local communities is an important aspect in the development of the destination,
activities that can be developed is by providing homestay, and socialization of
tourism awareness. The final principle is to improve the economy aimed at reducing
the leakage of foreign exchange through some creative activities involving local
communities such as green marketing, revenue management of tourism activities, and
participating in tourism fairs organized by the tourism department.
The method used in this research is descriptive method of analysis with
observation techniques, interviews with stakeholders, distribute a questionnaires to
the tourists, and literature study by studying books, articles related to Kalisuci, and
PERDA arraged by local government. Observation is done by direct observation to
the object of research to identify problems, interviews with stakeholders, and
questionnaires filled out by tourists so the data are found to be accountable for
accuracy
