Summary: | β-carotene is naturally chemical substance that is obtained in fruits and
vegetables. It has high economic value because the function of human bodies as
pro vitamin A and antioxidant. In oil manufacture, proces purification that using
high temperature make β-carotene are much reduced. The aim of tis research is
separating β-carotene from hydrolysed partial olein using seed crystal stearin to
increase beta carotene that is obtained.
Hydrolyses partial olein was mixed with petroleum eter and seed cystal
stearin to the variation of the size is 336.34 µm |
