Summary: | Background: The area that many cases (endemic) as a potential Dengue
Hemorhagic Fever (DHF) transmission occurs, the mosquito vector population
density is high and supported by environmental factors that influence a dengueprone
areas. Mertoyudan subdistrict of Magelang district which is always a
dengue endemic throughout the year, with Incidence Rate (IR) is high, well above
the national target of <20/100,000 population. Countermeasures have been made
but it seems these efforts have not been effective, dengue cases still occur each
year and increasing in number. DHF vulnerability mapping based on
environmental factors and strategies needed for effective control of dengue
prevention efforts.
Objective: The objective of this research to compile DHF vulnerability level map
with spatial modeling of environmental factors and its control strategy on a scale
of 1 : 50,000 in the Mertoyudan subdistrict Magelang district of Central Java
province use geographic information system (GIS). Environmental factors used
include: (a) the incidence of dengue
