Summary: | Nietzsche is a philosopher who called as the man beyond the time,
emphasizes people as core of the idea of existentialism. Nietzsche gave a new
understanding toward previous meaning of individual existence, an individual based
on the passion for life choices, struggling, and experiencing desires. Choosing is a
part of existential life enthusiasm, choice of individual existence giving uncertainty of
further things. The uncertainty in this respect is one thing for sure will be present at
every option that would make any subject feel the anxiety and fear. Each person need
an individual truth to choose which future things in order of existence actualization.
Ubermensch is the way for man to find the meaning of their self existence as a human.
This research is a library research which uses hermeneutic method. The
methodical element from this research is interpretation, internal coherence,
description and philosophy reflection. Material object of this research is Green Street
Hooligans film directed by Lexi Alexander, which analyzed critically from the point
of view of human philosophy, especially perspective of Nietzsche�s Existentialism.
Matt Buckner (main character) in the movie Green Street Hooligans is an
example of Nietzsche�s existentialism comprehension. Matt had a situation that make
him on the choice position between step forward to the ubermensch or step back to
the animal. A situation that came up after he is on the nihil position, and did a
transvaluation. The trip process of discover the existence through the dialectic of
Nietzsche�s ubermensch concluded that Matt Buckner�s had no existence if there are
no will to power, wich is the main reason for ubermensch, the way of life that human
should do.
