Description
Summary:Dr. Sardjito general hospital Yogyakarta operate Linac as one of cancer therapy modality. Linac is external therapy modality which apply radiation energy. Linac has photons and electrons output with different energy levels. Photons and electrons that are sensitive to the setting and environment, which would affect the quality of the Linac output. Maintenance and periodic calibration of Linac are done so that the output deviation does not exceed 2% of the established standards. One of the parameters that are measured when performing maintenance and periodic calibration is Percentage Depth Dose (PDD). Change of Linac PDD output is limited from January 2008 until August 2013. To determine the changes of Linac PDD output, then the retrieval of data by measuring PDD. Percentage Depth Dose measurements performed at photon energies of 6 MeV and 10 MeV, electron energies of 4 MeV, 6 MeV, 8 MeV, 10 MeV, 12 MeV and 15 MeV. Percentage Depth Dose values conducted on verification process are D10 for photon and R80 for electron. Measurement and standard deviation should not exceed by 2%. In order to know the change of PDD value, the previous data of measurements has been used, which are from January 2008 to April 2012. The analyze on Linac data measurement in Dr. Sardjito general hospital Yogyakarta showed that PDD of photon and electron has meet the standard. The measurement on August 2013 showed that photon deviation does not exceed 2% and electron deviation does not exceed 2 mm.
