Description
Summary:Plaosan Temple is a Buddhist Temple which has the value of art, history and culture. Plaosan Temple and its surrounding areas located on top of Merapi Quartenary sediment and its eastern of Opak River where is prone to damage from earthquakes. As part of effort to mitigate earthquakes disaster, its needed to study of mapping that is vulnerable to earthquake waves. Seismic microzonation is a method that utilizes microtremor survey to observe how the influence of site effect and soft soil of the building in an area (Irjan dan Bukhori, 2011). Microtremor is weak vibration in the earths surface continous vibration sources such as human activity, industry and traffic. Other source that are natural like the wind-bulding interaction, currents and ocean waves. The purpose of this analysis is to determine microtremor dynamic characteristics of the surface soil layer such as natural frequency (f Based on the microtremor measurement results of Plaosan and its surrounding area, generally have a dominant frequency ranging from 0.5 to 1.1 Hz. Whereas the dominant amplification values ranging from 2 to 4. As well as having a dominant seismic vulnerability values ranging from 1 to 22. Based on the analysis results, Plaosan and its surrounding areas have high potential earthquake disaster. That is because the geological conditions of the area that has the properties of unconsolidated sediment is resulted from volcanic activity and have a thick sediment ranged between 80-138 meters. 0) and the amplification factor (A). Nakamura HVSR method is an empirical technique to estimate the resonance characteristics of the sediment layers below the surface (Lermo, 1988 in Ratdomopurbo, 2006).
