Summary:The author interested to take kabuki as a theme because kabuki have stages, performances, costumes, techniques and roles that different and unique from the other theater arts. The method that used by author for this graduating paper is descriptive qualitative. The author is giving an illustration and description clearly about some problem that has been picked based on some reference and information obtained by the author. Kabuki is a theater art where all the actor were mens, but there was several role like wagoto (male role), aragoto (hero/villain role), and onnagata (female role). They can play all that role well on an amazing stage. All the actor have a routine such as exercise their physique and training all technique so they can perform well on stage.
