| description | This study entitled The Introduction Process of Digital Fabrication
Laboratory (A Descriptive Case Study about The Introduction Process of
HONFablab as Digital Fabrication Laboratory). The purpose of this study is to
find answer of researcher�s curiosity about the introduction of HONFablab as an
innovative product in digital fabrication culture. The urgency from this discourse
is the need of evaluative documentations that can be helpful for future digital
fabrication laboratory.
The method used in this research is case study with qualitative approach.
The point of interest from this case is the activity of HONFablab that gives both
service and education about digital fabrication. There�s always challenge in the
penetration process of this innovative product. In the other hand, HONFablab
always has creative ways in that introduction processes.
The main object of this study is HONFablab itself, which can be called as
change agent. This study is trying to offer readers with comprehensive
information about definition of digital fabrication, the FabLabs, it�s history, it�s
growth in the world, and the real visualizations of what they do. So that, this study
could be understand as both informative and useful discourse.
The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative analysis of
primary and secondary data in the main form. It written systematically, so the
contents could be understandable. This study uses Diffusion of Innovation Theory
as analysis path. |
