| Summary: | Health centers are primary health centers, one of the closest units to the public .
Medication management is a top priority in this aspect of pharmaceutical services for
the improvement of public health efforts. The purpose of research is to see and
observation drug compounding services and knowledge workers in health centers
particular area of the city of Yogyakarta.
This study is a descriptive survey study that aims to make a systematic deskripsive or
picture. Checklist is used to find a picture about drug compounding services at health
centers and questionnaires to determine the knowledge power of compounding drug.
The study was conducted in six primary health centers Yogyakarta region . Data
services include drug compounding facilities and infrastructure at health centers such
as personnel, facilities, cleanliness, equipment, and documentation. Knowledge
workers views of knowledge about weighing, equipment, preparations, additives,
drug calculations and synonyms. Research data observation drug compounding
services and the data were analyzed descriptively analyzed knowledge workers with
scoring value.
The results of knowledge workers in healh centers Yogyakarta region showed 78.34
% said that the level of knowledge of drug force six health centers in the city of
Yogyakarta in either category. three power centers have pharmacists, pharmacist
assistants and technicians. Compounding tables are generally not separated from
other activities that are multifunctional. The tools used for grinding medicinal drug in
the form of mortar and blender. Cleanliness that support drug compounding has not
met a good drug manufacturing standards. All health centers do not have specific
documentation for the drugs are formulated. It can be concluded that the
compounding facilities and infrastructure in the clinic area of the city of Yogyakarta
is still lacking despite the level of knowledge.
