| description | Regional General Hospital Saras Husada Purworedjo is a public hospital located in the district of Purworejo. This hospital is responsible as a competent health care providers which has been accredited B on the standard service. Regional General Hospital Saras Husada Purworedjo was applied a hospital information management system since the beginning in 2011 until 2015, and gradually make an arrangement of services, physical development and hospital facilities. Therefore this activity to assess the readiness of computer networks Saras Husada Hospital in doing performance of the hospital's activities In this research, some of analysis process were conducted. They were analysis of the existing topology, IP address allocation analysis, media analysis, identification of network problems, and computer network traffic analysis. Considering to the analysis which has been done on the condition of existing Saras Husada hospital's network , obtained a plan towards future network design that is expected to make the better quality of the computer network.. In this research, some analysis process were conducted. Which were consist of the analysis of the existing topology, IP address allocation analysis, media analysis, computer network traffic analysis, and analysis of computer network security. Considering to the analysis which has been done on the condition of hospital Saras Husada's existing network, then a plan for future network design that is expected to make the quality of computer networks become better was obtained. The plan is about the changes of topology which use a topology hierarchy. And topology hierarchy is the most appropriate topology to be applied in Saras Husada Hospital's computer network. Beside the changes of topology, a good addressing method which use a VLSM method has been added. by using VLSM method, the usage of IP addresses will be more efficient. And also, by using VLAN method for computer network grouping based on it's functions, will make the security aspects become more assured. |
