Summary: | The purpose of this research was to knew influence of green peanut sprout added to local fowl sperm production. The research used 12 local fowls in 4 groups, with 3 local fowls in every group. Treatment that given to every group was fresh green peanut sprout in level 0g (T0), 15 g (T1), 30 g (T2), and 45 g (T3) to every local fowl everyday before basal feed given. The compared between group treatment used One Way Randomized Complete Design with 3 replicates, then followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test were used to analyze data. The result of this research show that treatment wasnt effected to feed intake, result showed T0 82.48 g, T1 77.29 g, T2 75.91 g, and T3 75.88 g. Treatment effected (P<0.05) to volume, the result were T0 0.68 ml, T1 0.80 ml, T2 0.56 ml, and T3 0.46 ml. Sperm that produced had good viscocity. Sperm that produced had milk white colour. Treatment wasnt effect to pH, the result show 7 scale overall. Treatment effected (P<0.05) to motility, the result were T0 68.33%, T1 72.78%, T2 67.22%, and T3 54.44%. Treatment effected (P<0.05) to concentration, the result were T0 3.724 bilion/ml, T1 5.096 bilion.ml, T2 3.369 bilion/ml, T3 3.308 bilion/ml. Treatment wasnt effected to mortality, the result were T0 15.27%, T1 15.11%, T2 15.33%, and T3 15.39%. Treatment wasnt effected to abnormality, the result were T0 12.28%, T1 12.61%, T2 12.17%, T3 12.78%. It can be concluded that the treatment could increase volume, motility, viscocity, and spermatozoa concentration. The best treatment was 15 g level added.
